How to read our sale catalog
If you haven’t noticed, there is so much data available in the bull market today it is making genetic selection more difficult, not easier. We will publish full data sets via a sortable spreadsheet online and use the catalog to “highlight” key traits. Some are available from the Red Angus Associaion of America while some are available from the $Profit EPD system. We do not pay double for fun, we invest in each system to best try and represent our genetics. We do our best to highlight things that are important to our customers, docility, calving ease, dam information, while adding indices, and a blend of maternal and terminal EPD’s. If you need information that isn’t readily available in the catalog or spreadsheet, please reach out to us!
